The group meets at Bowden Village Hall, TD6 0SS. Sessions run from 10:00 to 16:00 and usually cost £12, but this may vary depending on material costs, which are included. Tea and coffee are provided, but please bring your lunch.

The dates for the autumn of 2025 and the early part of 2026 are:

  • 20th of September
  • 18th of October
  • 15th of November
  • 26th of January 2026
  • 21st of February
  • 21st of March
  • 18th of April
  • 16th of May

If you plan to attend a meeting, please let Tamsin know two weeks in advance so that materials can be organised. Ideas about what you would like to make are welcome.

In addition, we’ll be at the Apple Festival at Woodside Plant Centre on 4th & 5th October, and we’re hoping to have a December meeting at the willow plot in Craik, weather permitting.

If you are a beginner and want to discuss getting involved, please email the group coordinator (contact details below), who will be happy to help. However, as the group works without a formal tutor, with members sharing skills and experience, you would gain more from the sessions by attending a beginners' course.

A limited number of tools (secateurs, rapping irons, bodkins & craft knives) will be available, but please bring your own, along with a spray bottle, if you have them.

If you have any questions about anything, don't hesitate to get in touch with Tamsin.
