Frame 3
Frame 3, the second of the BA @ 50 baskets to be woven by Northumbria Basketry Group members.
‘The Whitley Chapel basket (Frame 3) was woven at the plot on 28th May and was inspired by an old French basket that belonged to one of the members. It was woven by Stuart Edwards and Jean Tinsley using 5’ Dicky Meadows for the side weavers and 7’ Caliantha for the double handle bow, which was pegged.’
