Changes to Newton and Whitley Chapel Group

The last meeting at Newton Community Hall took place yesterday, with 14 people in attendance making a range of baskets, peony supports and trugs. The group will relocate to Whitley Chapel with effect from May, with the May, June and July meetings being held at the willow plot from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. From September 2018 onward our meetings will be held at Whitley Chapel Village Hall and the time of meetings will also change to an 11.00 am start and finishing at 4.00 pm. Work has also started on the creation of a car parking area at the willow plot. The area has now been cleared of rocks and trees and levelled.
