There is an opportunity to sell baskets in North Berwick on Saturday, the 25th of October. Please read on for detailed information from Jilly Greig.
"I am holding a willow fair on Saturday, 25th October 2025, in Blackadder Church Hall, High Street, North Berwick, East Lothian. I have several basketmakers from the Lothians coming, and I was wondering if some of your members would like to join us. It would be £20 per table, and they can bring their baskets to sell, and some work to do at their table as well, so that the general public can see different aspects of willow work.
I have Anna Corbett, Anna Turnbull, Sandra Scholes already coming from the Northumberland group but the more the merrier. Would you be able to spread the word, and if they would like to be involved, they can email me directly on greigjilly@gmail.com as soon as they can, so we can start advertising properly. I am also expanding it this year, to include woodworkers, coppicers, hedge layers, spoon carvers, and foragers, so whatever you have, we would be grateful for their signing up!
