Description
The history of pine needle baskets goes back hundreds of years. Traditionally, coils of pine needles were tied together with animal sinew or strong plant fibres. Many cultures worldwide continue this tradition today using waxed natural or synthetic fibre.
Join Karla Pearce to create your own coiled pine needle basket out of waxed thread and Scottish pine needles on Sunday, May 11th, at Bowden.
