Ash Splint Basket at Broadrake

Description

A great opportunity in this 2-day workshop to experience working with ash splints, a traditional material from North America, with tutor Steve Tomlin. Please note that you will be working with splints that Steve has already harvested, so you won’t have to be outside with a mallet and a log! You will learn how to grade and prepare them before being shown the traditional weaves typical of this material.
